All Pro Sound's setup is truly a work of art and it’s also my full time job. For the custom online store, I first created a MySQL database for the e-commerce system to reside on and then I developed the shopping cart script from the ground up. This site is hosted at All Pro Sound so I tied the e-commerce system with the point of sale software allowing the website prices to be updated when they are changed in the accounting software. I also tied the database in with the UPS and Fedex shipping computers to allow for easy tracking of orders and importing of address information using the order number on the shipping computers. This allows the shipping personal to simply enter the order number and have all the address information populated into the UPS and Fedex shipping software.

The Commercial and Residential sections of the site are 100% dynamic and all of the content is editable by employees who have access. Access in controlled by a very powerful intranet system that I also developed.
